GROUND ZERO

GROUND ZERO - RELEASED 2005 (POWERSLAVE RECORDS)

Ground Zero was the release of Zeromind’s first LP in 2005, a completion of the bands first Ground Zero EP, released in 2003.

Produced by Sylvia Massy, Grammy Winning producer of Tool and System of a Down’s debut albums. Song’s from the EP were mixed by Sylvia Massy, all other songs were mixed by Jason McGuire, and mastered by John Cuniberti.

Released in 2005, Ground Zero marked Zeromind’s explosive full-length debut, completing the creative arc that began with their Ground Zero EP in 2003. The album represented a pivotal turning point in the band’s sound and lineup, as vocalist Eric Henderson and guitarist Leopoldo Larsen joined in 2004—bringing fresh songwriting energy and helping to shape the record’s final vision.

Notably, Henderson first appeared as a guest vocalist on the EP’s standout track “Reaching Further,” hinting at the chemistry and sonic direction that would define the completed LP. His commanding vocals, paired with Larsen’s dynamic guitar work and compositional input, became central to Zeromind’s evolving identity.
